The issue to ratify agreement on economic co-operation between Kyrgyz government and Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED) will be solved on June 3, 2003 at a session of the Legislative Assembly of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of Kyrgyzstan. Deputies today opened the debate on data issue. In the course of discussion, the majority of deputies noted that the idea of agreement do not contradict interests of the Kyrgyz Republic, however its is necessary to consider some articles. In case of ratification of the agreement, AKFED could open its representation in Bishkek for implementation of co-ordination of its activity in the republic. The agreement signed in Bishkek on October 31, 2002 in the course of the Global Mountain Summit. Minister of Finance Bolot Abildaev signed the agreement from the Kyrgyz side.
