Later this week, His Highness the Aga Khan will preside over the Aga Khan University’s 2013 convocation ceremony. 2013 is a special year for AKU, one that celebrates many milestones: the 30th anniversary of the granting of the University’s charter, the 30th graduating class of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, the 25th graduating class of the Medical College and the 20th anniversary of the start of the Institute for Educational Development. To commemorate the Aga Khan’s visit and AKU’s milestones, the NanoWisdoms Archive is pleased to present 42 years of the Aga Khan’s AKU speeches, going back to 1971 when he laid the foundation stone for the Aga Khan Hospital and Medical College, the forerunner of today’s Aga Khan University.

We are also pleased to present our recent series, “His Highness the Aga Khan on the Aga Khan University,” which summarises his remarks, made over the years, on five key topics. (Photo: Hakim’s Studio / ismaili.net)
